How it all started
The Restaurant Collective was established in May 2020, by Grace Harding from Ocean Basket and Natasha Sideris from the Tasha’s Group.
Their objective: to alleviate the pressure on the industry amidst the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
It was imperative to unite the industry and collaborate with the government to ensure the effective implementation of National Disaster Management Regulations. By doing so, the responsible and sustainable trading for restaurants during unprecedented times was facilitated and thus, enabled.
